RE: COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT
I hereby inform you that the Commercial Workers’ Union of Zimbabwe and the National Commercial Employers Association of Zimbabwe have completed wage negotiations for the period 01 July, 2011 to 30 June 2012. The new wage increases shall come into effect from the 1st of July, 2011 as follows:-

*Employees in grade 1 (b) are employees who have completed two or more years of continuous service with the same employer as at 1st July, 2011.
PART II
Wage Increases for employees earning above the minimums for their grades.

All percentage increases awarded to employees from 1st of July, 2011, may be taken into account when implementing the new percentage on condition that, if the adjustment awarded fall short of the Collective Bargaining Agreement’s specified percentage, the affected employees shall receive further increases in the form of the difference between the stipulated percentage increases and the percentage already awarded.
